Clean Beauty Skincare Routine

Everybody has a different skin type, so finding your preferred skincare products is a matter of test and trial. I particularly have combination skin, therefore all my recommendations fit this profile. That said, clean beauty brands have a great range of products specific to every skin type and condition.

I live in Spain, so I mainly use brands that ship to Europe and buy most of my products online on Cult Beauty, Content Beauty or Netaporter UK websites.

Check my Clean Beauty Starter Guide post for stores in the UK, US, Portugal and Spain.

SKINCARE

I have tried several skincare brands including Tata Harper , Dr. Haushka, Oskia, Goop and many more. To keep things simple I have focused only on my favourite brands and have listed them in order of use in my beauty routine.

Daily

Cleanser - Brand Tata Harper - Product Clarifying Cleanser. Many other cleanser options exist from Tata Harper depending on your skin type.

Tonic - Brand Tata Harper - Product Hydrating Floral Essence. Very refreshing tonic that comes in spray format, one of my favourite products.

There are many serum options out there, though these can be quite pricey. Below are the most effective and best value for money options I have found. Tata Harper has a wide range though more on the higher end spectrum.

Super hydrating serum - Brand Pestle & Mortar - Product Pure Hyaluronic Serum. Amazing super hydrating serum, one of my favourite. Available also on Amazon ES and Amazon UK.

Serum - Brand Jane Apothecary - Product Hydrating and Soothing Serum. Hydrating and refreshing serum, with lavender fragrance.

Vitamin C - Brand Nue Co - Product Topical C. To be mixed and applied with the serum.

Moisturizer - Brand Tata Harper - Product Clarifying Moisturizer.  Many other moisturizer options available depending on your skin type, this one is lightweight and has a refreshing fragrance.

Eye Cream - Brand Tata Harper- Product Restorative Eye cream. Great product, requires very little quantity so the price is worth it.

Sunscreen - Brand Madara- Product Stem Cell Age-Defying Sunscreen SPF 30. The perfect BB cream sunscreen to be mixed with your moisturizer. I use this daily instead of makeup.

Sunscreen stick - Brand Salt & Stone - Product Face stick. A great item to keep in your bag, particularly in sunny countries like Spain.

Lip sunscreen - Brand Salt & Stone- Product Lip Balm SPF 30. I live in Madrid, so I use SPF lip balm, you might want to skip this step depending on where you live.

Make up remover - Brand Oskia- Product Renaissance cleansing gel. Great cleanser for makeup removal. Oil cleansers are another good alternative.

Weekly

Face scrub - Brand Goldfaden MD - Product Doctor’s Scrub. Great creamy scrub to be used weekly, the texture is amazing.

Lip scrub- Brand French Girl - Product Rose Lip Polish. Addictive lip scrub and balm, I bought mine at the Goop store in London.

Et voilà. It might seem a lengthy list, but it is totally doable and I am one of those persons that gets ready in fifteen minutes. If I manage, so can you!

US BRANDS

I have heard amazing things about all these brands and can’t wait to try them, unfortunately only Josh Rosebrook is available for shipping to Europe. If you are lucky enough to live or be travelling to the US, do not miss checking out these brands: Truebotanicals, Marie Veronique, and Drunk Elephant.
